Why a price may be absent

The album may be intended for visual presentation, the amount may live on a separate marketplace page, the uploader may quote by variant or quantity, or the information may simply no longer be available. None of these possibilities lets you invent the missing field.

The missing number is only part of the problem

Even when an amount is visible, it may refer to a different variant, quantity tier or incomplete set. When no amount appears, mark the album as incomplete for price comparison rather than assuming the item is free or unavailable.

Start with currency, variant, quantity basis, included costs, source and date. Treat any seller-specific code as unexplained until the uploader’s authorized information defines it.

Why a price-like code is not enough

Letters, spacing, punctuation or small numbers can have seller-specific meanings. Treat each uploader's notation as local to that album until an authorized source explains the format.

Compare the same total

Decide which stage matters: unit price, packed product total or a broader delivered estimate. Keep product, packing, freight, duties and other third-party charges in separate fields so a low first number does not hide a higher incomparable total.

When the displayed amount changes

Keep the earlier amount with its original source and date, then add the new observation as a separate entry. Check whether the variant, quantity tier, included items or currency also changed. A different number is not automatically a price increase or decrease when the basis of the quote is different.

When a very low number deserves more questions

Check whether it applies to a deposit, accessory, minimum bulk tier, different material, sample or incomplete set. A low number is not itself proof of a bargain or a problem; it is a reason to clarify what is included.
